Wide Rail Privacy Fencing choices feature a 2" x 7" rail at the top and bottom of the solid fence portion rather than the standard 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" rail. The difference is primarily aesthetic, resulting in a fence that appears sturdier, more dramatic and more secure. Lattice and spindle toppers are capped with a 2" x 3 1/2" rail.
